Fond du Lac Public Library employs about 45 full- and part-time people. Part-time positions range from 12 to 30 hours per week. The educational requirements for our positions range from less than a high school education to a master's in Library Science. All of our positions require basic computer literacy and excellent customer service capabilities. Any future openings will be posted in the library and listed on this web page. FDL Public Library has the following openings:

Library Clerk 1 (Support Services—Circulation) (2 positions, 19.5hrs/week)

Library Clerks perform mid-level clerical tasks assigned by the Circulation Supervisor and Support Services Coordinator. The work involves responsibility for carrying out assignments by following standing instructions on routine procedures and established practices. The work requires considerable public contact at the Circulation Desk.

Total weekly hours and schedule varies, including nights and weekends.
$14.59 per hour


Circulation Library Page (1 position, 12 hrs/week)

The work involves routine clerical and support tasks assigned by the Circulation Team Leader or the Assistant Director. The work is distinguished from that of a Clerk position in that it does not involve complex clerical tasks associated with direct service to the public.

Typical weekly schedule is two evenings and one weekend shift.
$8.17 per hour
